The years passed with nothing out of the ordinary happening.
The kids got older, went to school, high school and college.
In 1974, Michael moved out and got his own apartment in New York.

On September 11, 1976 John married Debbie Daroci; they set up their household in Old Bridge.

In 1977, Mike and Rosella celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary.

Their children threw a surprise party for them in the backyard of their home. It was attended by many friends and family members who hadn't seen each other in years.

On June 20, 1978 their first grandchild was born. Jodi Lynn, the daughter of John and Debbie.

On July 16, 1980 their first grandson John was born.

On January 20, 1983 their third grandchild Justin was born. Justin is the third and last of John and Debbie’s children.

On November 26, 1983 Roseann married Robert Worth Esser. They moved to Naperville, Illinois; just outside of Chicago.

On November 28, 1987 Denise married Steven Michael Hannis.

Denise and Steve’s first child, Amelia Howlett, was born on February 23, 1989.

Roseann and Rob had their first child, Robert “Michael”, on August 24, 1989.

On April 8, 1991 Kyle Duncan Thomas, Denise and Steve’s second child was born.

Then on March 10, 1992 Elizabeth Gayle was born. She is Roseann and Rob’s second and last child.

On March 23, 1993 Denise and Steve’s third child, Olivia Jean was born.

On October 10, 1994 Colin Jorge, Denise and Steve’s fourth and last child was born.

On June 30th, 2002, one day after their 50th Wedding Anniversary, Mike and Rosella’s children threw another surprise party for them in honor of their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Jodi Lynn, Mike and Rosella’s first grandchild married Chris Florio on April 3rd, 2004.

Mike and Rosella’s first great-grandchild Caitlin Riley Florio was born April 27, 2007 to granddaughter Jodi and her husband Chris.
