Denise was born November 3, 1963 in North Shore Hospital in Manhasset, New York.

On November 28, 1987 Denise married Steven Michael Hannis in the Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Old Bridge.

On February 23, 1989 their first daughter Amelia was born.

On April 8, 1991 their first son Kyle was born.

On March 27, 1993 their second daughter Olivia was born.

On October 10, 1994 their second son Colin was born.

In June 2007 their oldest daughter Amelia graduated from Dunellen High School with honors. She will attend Kean University in Union, NJ on a partial academic scholarship in the fall.
