John was born on December 8, 1954 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He was the second of five children.

He married Debra Daroci on September 11th, 1976 in the First Presbyterian Church in Matawan, New Jersey.
They made their home in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

On June 20th, 1978 John and Debbie’s first child, Jodi Lynn was born.

On July 16th, 1980 their second child, John Andrew was born.

On January 20th, 1983 their third child, Justin Matthew was born.

On April 3rd, 2004 Jodi Lynn married Christopher Daniel Florio in the First Presbyterian Church in Matawan, New Jersey.

John and Debbie’s first grandchild, Caitlin Riley Florio was born April 27, 2007 to daughter Jodi and her husband Chris.
