Anna was the first of Baba and Jigi’s 10 children. Know as Ann to her siblings, her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Annie.

By the time of the 1930 Federal Census, Ann was no longer living with the family in Beaverdale. She had moved to New York where she got a job and had an apartment in Astoria, Queens.

Over the next few years, Ann’s brothers and sisters Andy, Helen, John and Marge would stay with her and find jobs in New York.

It was in New York that Ann met John Flynn.

Ann and John’s anniversary is October 5th; they were married in New York sometime between 1940 and 1943 prior to John going into the Navy during WWII and moving to California.

Their daughter Maryann was born January 6, 1952.

Their son John Kevin was born November 7, 1953.

Aunt Annie and Uncle John lived in Tujunga, California. As a result, we only saw her every few years when she would visit Baba with Maryanne and John Kevin. Occasionally, Uncle John would come East with them.

Both are buried in the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.

As far as we know, Maryanne still lives in California.

John Kevin lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife Linda and their daughter Erin.
