Kyle was born April 21, 1989, the second of Mary Beth and Matthew’s two sons.

In 1992 the family moved from North Carolina to Pennsylvania when Zach’s dad took a position at The Hill School.

While a student at The Hill School, Kyle was a Staff Writer for The Hill News (the school’s Student Run Newspaper).

In 2006, Kyle received the highest recognition for his score on the National Latin Examination (NLE). He received a gold medal and a Summa Cum Laude certificate which is granted only to students who have no more than two incorrect answers. Additionally, he received a Cum Honore Maximo Egregio award for a perfect score on the Latin III/IV examination.

Zach graduated from The Hill School in 2007.

He is currently a student at Harvard College.
